Reduce emissions by installing a Hybrid Combi Boiler with Heat Pump
Introduction to the Hybrid Combi Boiler with Heat Pump:
This unique system is ideal for properties that are 25 years old or newer that have wall and loft insulation.
The hybrid system works by replacing your old gas combi boiler with a specially designed gas combi boiler and heat pump. The heat pump is located outside in a convenient location, subject to space and within the current regulations.
This unique combination of gas boiler and heat pump will drastically reduce the running costs of your central heating.
The average combi boiler is oversized for heating properties, but the heat pump is finely tuned to run at optimum efficiency to match the heat loss of properties under 25 years old, so that is why this system will only be effective with well insulated properties.
With the hybrid system, the heat pump has an input of 4Kw but outputs 16kW of heat, warming your property 75% of the time while using less energy. That means for every 1kW of energy that you pay for, you are getting 4kW out. During winter, the specially designed gas combi boiler will be activated to top up the heat output as required.
Optimise Your Energy Savings
Another fantastic feature of the hybrid system is that you can simply enter your gas and electric tariffs into the easy-to-use control system and then it will select the cheapest tariff to be used automatically. And if your tariff changes, or you get a special deal, you can simply update the hybrid system. You can also monitor the system to see how much you are saving and control it via your smart phone.
